last night, a kitten named Maxwell slept with me under the covers on the couch i was crashing on. i didn’t move all night long so she would stay cuddled up in front of my legs (we were practically spooning!) and yet i woke up feeling the most rested. that is, of course, until i got up to go to the bathroom and stepped right into a pile of cat vom she must have left for me during the night....
